What is Toyota 4D Key Tool?
Toyota 4D Key Tool is a immobilizer off software special for Toyota.You can use it to repair immobilizer and synchronization with motor ECU utility.

How to Use Toyota 4D Key Tool
Is no car transponder key:
Remove immo (Transponder ID ECU) from car. Open it and read EEPROM. Open immo dump with “TOYOTA 4D KEY TOOL” and push “Generate keys”. Now using any transponder tool (Codereader, ZedBull, RW4 or other) write transponder data to TPX3 or EH (electronic 4D emulator). This transponder will be car Master (Black) key.
Car not start – unknown problem:
First make car immobilizer and motor ECU diagnostic. If Immobilizer have error code “wrong transponder” or “transponder ID is not registered” – generate new transponder from immobilizer dump. If is no fault codes in immobilizer and in motor ECU is fault code “immobilizer fault B2799” – you need synchronize immo-motor ECU.

The control circuit of the engine immobiliser system has been integrated into the engine ECU.The engine ECU is mounted behind the passenger side glove box.Some times immobiliser system has immo box. Inside is 93C66 eeprom
Immo location : Behind the noise insulation coat. Inside is 93C66 eeprom
Location of immobox is behind steering wheel. IMMOBOX : 89780-0F010, EEPROM : 93LC66B
The immo box is mounted in the lower instrument panel. Inside is 93C66 eeprom.
The immo box is mounted in the upper centre of instrument panel. Inside is 93C56 or 93C66 eeprom
Motor ECU sychronization:
All Toyota Lexus with OBDII connector engine ECU registration procedure
Engine ECU Replacement:
When the Engine ECU is replaced,ECU communication must be completed.ECU communication must be performed between the transponder ECU and the Engine ECU.Complete ECU communication using the following steps:
A.Insert a registered Master Key into the ignition cylinder.
B.Turn the ignition ON (engine OFF)
C.Short Tc and CG terminals of DLC 3 using Diagnosis Check Wire (SST 09843-18020 or equivalent) and leave for 30 minutes.
D.After 30 minutes,turn ignition OFF and remove check wire from DLC3
E.Start the vehicle to confirm successful ECU communication
Note:If ECU communication is not completed correctly,the engine will not start and DTC b2799 will be set.DTC B2799 will be cleared after the engine starts correctly
