VCP System Coding Lock/Unlock Electronic Handbrake for VW

Vehicle Supported:

All vehicles equipped with an electronic handbrake (STG53 – parking brake)

 

Procedures:

Connect VCP System interface to vehicle,then select “Guided functions assistant”

Select “Opening,closing electric handbrake”

The procedure open/closes the brake calipers on vehicles with electric emergency brake.

Conditions:

Ignition on

Before starting the procedure for opening please lock and then unlock the emergency brake.Closing does not require and additional action before starting.

 

It should be important to ensure that the communication was maintained between the VCP program and the car during the procedure.Noise (Low battery,cable damage etc) can result in damage to the control modules.
