Techstream Program New Keys for Toyota Camry

Procedures:

Connect your Techstream cable to vehicle obd port under the steering wheel.

Use your original master key to turn the ignition to “ON” position

Run Techstream software

After vehicle identification,select “Immobiliser”

Click “Utility” button at left side menu,then select “Key Registration”

Then press “Next” to proceed

Now Techstream will show you the steps to program new keys:

Step 1:

Remove the key from the Key Cylinder

Insert the key back into the Key Cylinder

Turn IG ON

After then click “Next” to continue

Step 2:

Remove the master key from the key cylinder within 20 seconds,then press Next.

Step 3:

Insert the key you want to program within 10 seconds,then press next.

<CAUTION>:DO NOT TURN THE IGNITION SWITCH ON

Now it need take a few minutes to complete the progress,please wait…

After the process completing,it will show the key registration is complete.

This key should now start the vehicle.

Press “Next” to register another key or press Exit to exit the key registration wizard

 

Now you can the new key on your Camry by using security light for immobilizer system.If keys can not work the security light will be blinking constantly,and if inserted key is registered key,the security light will disappear.And the you can take the key to your local locksmith store to cut the key.

 

Program Remote Buttons:

Back to “Main Body”

Select “Utility” button,then select “Wireless Code Registration”

Then it will ask you to perform below operations:

1.Ignition is ON

2.Driver side door is opened and other doors are closed

3.Driver side door is unlocked

After the click “Next” to continue

Note:The registration process will fail if the time limit is exceeded for any step

 

Remaining number of remotes that can be registered,here in the example number of remotes currently registered is 2,click “Next”

On the next screen,you will have to perform the following operations within 30 seconds.

On the remote transmitter,push:

1.Lock and Unlock simultaneously for 1 second.

2.Within 3 seconds,press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button again for 1 second

On the remote transmitter,push:

1.Lock and Unlock simultaneously for 1 second.

2.Within 3 seconds,press either the LOCK or UNLOCK button again for 1 second

Wireless Code Registration is complete

Press Next to register another key code,or press Exit to exit this function

Now test the remote function on your Toyota Camry.
