Procedures:

Connect Volvo PTT interface to vehicle,run Volvo PTT software.

Login with user ID and password

After vehicle identify,enter work order number,then click “Start Work”

Click “Test”

Volvo PTT will check preparations condition:

Reading user information

Reading product information

Checking operation support.This may take several minutes.

Operations valid for this product are being selected

After preparations checking,select “Engine,Engine mounting and equipment”–>”Inlet and exhaust system”–>”2589-08-03-02 Exhaust Aftertreatment System,Service Regeneration”

Then click “Start” button to continue

Tick “I have read and understand the above advisory” and then click “Continue” to proceed.

Click “DPF” and you can check the description at right filed

“A-2545-08-03 Diesel Particulate Filter Service Regeneration

This operation is used to perform a “service regeneration” of the diesel particulate filter (DPF)

During engine operation,the DPF becomes loaded with soot.Regeneration of the DPF take place during engine operation in order to remove the soot.

If the soot level becomes grater than what can be removed by the normally-occuming regeneration process,service regeneration may be needed.Service regeneration may also be needed to prepare the filter for ash cleaning.”

Click “Continue” to proceed

Tick the “Confirmed” and click “Continue” to proceed

Click “Play” button to start

Note:The process can be stopped at any point by selecting the stop button
