Error identification

A CAN message expected from the coordinator has failed to arrive.

 

Cause

Open circuit in voltage supply to CMS control unit.

The CMS control unit is not connected to the orange CAN bus.

The coordinator is not connected to the orange CAN bus.

Fault on the orange CAN bus.

Notes

–

 

Symptom

Reduced functionality for functions dependent on the CMS control unit.

 

Action

Check fault codes from the CMS control unit.

If no fault codes can be read from the CMS control unit:

Check the voltage supply and 15 voltage to the CMS control unit.

Check the CMS control unit connection to the orange CAN bus.

Check the coordinator connection to the orange CAN bus.

Check the orange CAN bus termination resistor, voltage and load. See Help > Communication fault for more information.
