MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15

This is guide on how to use MPPS ECU programmer to read and write Bosch EDC15 for Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI.

 

Preparations:

MPPS ECU Programming Software Free Download

How to Install MPPS V21 V18 V16 on Window XP,Window 7

 

 

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15:

Connect MPPS ECU Programmer to VW Polo obd port and PC USB port

Then run MPPS software to select “Volkswagen”–>”Polo”–>”1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 K-Line”

Click “ECU id F1”

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (1)

After ECU identification,it will show you with below massage

VW hardware number,VW System type,VW Software number,VW software version and VIN number

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (2)

After then click “Read F2” button

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (3)

Wait for reading proceed…

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (4)

After reading completing,save the ECU data on your PC

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (5)

It will prompt you to switch off key to continue,then click “OK”

Wait for 5 seconds,then switch on key to continue,then click “OK”

Write ECU data file to ECU by MPPS

Note:You can use ECU data file editor to modify the ECU data file you read from ECU (ECM Titanium,WinOLS,DPF EGR Lambda Romover)

Click “Write F3” button

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (11)

Select ECU data file you have modified (Use WinOLS or ECM TITANIUM)

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (12)

Click “OK” to continue programming

MPPS Read & Write Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI Bosch EDC15 (13)

Wait for proceed

After proceed finish,turn ignition off and click “OK”

Wait for 5 seconds

 

Switch ignition key to continue

Done!
