End position sensor 1 ACS

Error identification

The end position sensor is activated even though vehicle speed is so high that the articulation unit should be relatively straight.

 

Cause

Defective end position sensor.

Short circuit or open circuit on the end position sensor circuit.

The plate which activates the end position sensor is deformed or has been moved out of position.

 

Notes

The ACS warning indication is displayed.

 

Action

Check the end position sensor.

Check cable harnesses, harness-to-harness and harness-to-component connectors.

Check whether the plate which activates the end position sensor is deformed or has been moved out of position.

 

 

End position sensor 2 ACS

Error identification

The end position sensor is activated even though vehicle speed is so high that the articulation unit should be relatively straight.

Defective end position sensor.
