Error identification

LIN communication between ALM control unit E7 and siren N9 does not work.

Cause

Fault in the LIN bus.

Fault in cable harness or harness-to-component connectors for siren N9.

Internal fault in ALM control unit E7.

Notes

 

 

Symptom

The siren does not work correctly.

 

Action

Check whether a fault code concerning a fault on the LIN bus has been generated.

Check siren N9, including its cable harness and harness-to-component connectors.

Check ALM control unit E7.
