End position sensor 1 ACS
Error identification
The end position sensor is activated even though vehicle speed is so high that the articulation unit should be relatively straight.
Cause
Defective end position sensor.
Short circuit or open circuit in the end position sensor circuit.
The plate which activates the end position sensor is deformed or has been moved out of position.
Notes
ACS warning lamp comes on in the instrument cluster.
Action
Check the end position sensor.
Check cable harness and connectors.
Check whether the plate which activates the end position sensor is deformed or has been moved out of position.
