This instruction show you guide on how to remove and disassemble start motor for ISUZU Euro 4 N series truck with 4JJ1 engine.

Procedures:
Removal
1.Remove the starter ground cable.
Disconnect the front frame harness connector near the transmission control box and remove each of the clips fastening the harness.
2.Remove the harness terminal.
Remove the magnetic switch S terminal (2) harness.
Remove the magnetic switch B terminal (1) harness.
3.Remove the starter assembly.
Remove the two bolts top and bottom, and remove the starter from the clutch housing.
Disassembly
1.Disconnect the lead wire at the magnetic switch.
2.Remove the magnetic switch bolts, then remove the switch from the shift lever.
3.Remove the torsion spring from the magnetic switch.
4.Remove the through bolt.
5.Remove the screw.
6.Remove the rear cover.
7.Remove the four brushes from the brush holders.
8.Remove the yoke along with the armature and the brush holder from the gearcase.
9.Remove the brush holder from yoke and armature.
10.Remove the armature from yoke.
11.Remove the bearing retainer.
12.Remove the pinion assembly.
13.Remove the dust cover.
14.Remove the shift lever.
15.Remove the gearcase.
16.Remove the stopper clip.
17.Disassemble the pinion assembly.
