This instruction show you guide on how to repair HINO Truck 600 series P0016 abnormality in phasing by revolution pulsar trouble.

 

Preparations:

Nexiq USB2 Diagnostic Adapter

2024.03 HINO Diagnostic Explorer DX3/DX2 Diagnostic Software Free Download

HINO Trucks EPC Electronic Parts Catalog 2018 2016 Free Download

 

 

Procedures:

1.Inspect the camshaft gear.

Check that the camshaft gear is properly assembled.

Refer to the section “TIMING GEAR” in the chapter “ENGINE MECHANICAL (J08E)” (S5-CJ08E11* or S5-UJ08E11*).

If you found any failure,assemble the camshaft gear properly,otherwise go to step 2.

 

2.Inspect the flywheel

Check that the flywheel is properly assembled.

Refer to the section “FLYWHEEL AND FLYWHEEL HOUSING” in the chapter “ENGINE MECHANICAL (J08E)” (S5-CJ08E11* or S5-UJ08E11*).

If you find any failure,assemble the flywheel properly.

Otherwise go to step 3

 

3.Inspect Crankshaft position sensor(Engine speed main sensor), Camshaft position sensor

Check that the sensor are installed to the proper position.

If you find failure,install the crankshaft position sensor (engine speed main sensor) and the camshaft position sensor (engine speed sub sensor) in proper locations.

Otherwise procedure completed.
