ISUZU 4JJ3 Battery with DPD Battery Sensor Removal & Installation

This instruction show you guide on how to remove and install battery sensor for ISUZU 2020 TF series 4JJ3 AWR6B45.

 

Preparations:

Procedures:

Removal:

1)Open the engine hood.

2)Disconnect the battery cable from the battery negative terminal.

Caution:

After turning OFF the ignition switch (power mode for models with passive entry and start system), do not disconnect the battery cable within 3 minutes.

If the battery cable is disconnected within 3 minutes, the vehicle electronic control system may malfunction.

If the battery cable is disconnected, perform the setting of the front door power window switch with AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN function after connecting the battery negative terminal.

 

1)Disconnect the connector from the battery sensor.

2)Remove the battery sensor from the battery.

Installation:

1) Install the battery sensor to the battery.

Tightening torque: 12 N・m { 1.2 kgf・m / 106 lb・in }

1) Connect the battery cable to the battery negative terminal.

Caution:

If the following procedures are performed, perform the setting of the front door power window switch with AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN function.

Disconnecting of the battery

1) Operate the front door power window switch and lower the driver side front door glass to the halfway position.

2) Completely close the driver side front door glass and hold the front door power window switch with it pulled up for 2 seconds.

3) Close the engine hood.
