Nissan Maxima 2017 Target Ignition Timing Adjustment by Launch X431 Throttle

Procedures:

Connect LAUNCH X431 Throttle to Nissan OBD port,then enter menu to select “Nissan”

Select “The vehicle with 16 pin”

Confirm VIN,select “OK”

Select “Automatic Selection”

Confirm your car VIN,year and model,select “OK”

Select “System Selection”

It will show you with the system information,just select “OK” to continue

Select “Special Function”

Select “Target Ign Tim Adj”

A system information screen will give you instruction:

Touch “Start” and adjust idle ignition timing under the following conditions:

Engine is warmed up

Loads(Air conditioner,Lights,ETC.) are off

Function is not normally required during the usual service procedure

Click “OK” to continue

Now you can select “Up” or “Down” to adjust the ignition time,and the select “Update” after an adjustment is made
