Kobelco ISUZU 4JJ1 P0047 Turbocharger EVRV Control Circuit High Solution

Here is an illustration show you steps on how to solve turbocharger EVRV control circuit high P0047 trouble code for Kobelco ISUZU 4JJ1 engine machine.

 

Preparations:

ISUZU E-IDSS 2023 2019 Engine Diagnostic Service System Free Download

ISUZU IDSS MX2-T

 

Procedures:

1P0047 Diagnostics

1.Turn OFF the ignition switch for 1 minute or more.

2.Disconnect the harness connector from the turbocharger control solenoid.

3.Connect a test light between the turbocharger control solenoid High side circuit and a known good GND.

4.Turn ON the ignition switch.

5.If the test light does not illuminate, inspect the High side circuit between the ECM and the turbocharger control solenoid.

Note: There should be no open circuit or high resistance.

Note: There should be no short to GND.

6.If a problem is found, repair the turbocharger control solenoid High side circuit.

7.Turn OFF the ignition switch for 1 minute or more.

8.Connect a test light between the turbocharger control solenoid Low side circuit and the battery power supply.

9.Turn ON the ignition switch.

10.If the test light does not illuminate, inspect the Low side circuit between the ECM and the turbocharger control solenoid for an open circuit or high resistance

11.If a problem is found, repair the turbocharger control solenoid Low side circuit.

12.Turn OFF the ignition switch for 1 minute or more with the test light still connected.

13.Disconnect the ECM harness connector.

14.If the test light illuminates, inspect the turbocharger control solenoid Low side circuit for a short to GND.

15.If a problem is found, repair the turbocharger control solenoid Low side circuit.

16.Inspect for poor connections at the turbocharger control solenoid harness connector.

17.If a problem is found, repair the harness connector.

18.Inspect the turbocharger control solenoid.

19.If a problem is found, replace the turbocharger control solenoid.

20.Inspect for poor connections at the ECM harness connector.

21.If a problem is found, repair the harness connector

22.If the harness connector is normal, replace the ECM.

23.Set the Injector ID Code and engine No. on the ECM.

24.Perform SCR purging with a trouble diagnosis scan tool.

 

2P0047 Confirm Resolution

1.Clear the DTC with a trouble diagnosis scan tool.

2.Turn OFF the ignition switch for 1 minute or more.

3.Start the engine.

4.Perform a test-run under the conditions for running the DTC.

Note: Conditions for setting the DTCs such as engine run time or coolant temperature, etc., vary depending on the DTCs.

Note: For the conditions for setting the DTC, refer to the applicable code listed in 15E DTC information.

5.Observe the DTC information with a trouble diagnosis scan tool. A DTC should not be set.
