Isuzu Commercial Truck of America is sending this notice as a reminder to inform customers that Front Wheel Bearing Maintenance must be performed on Isuzu N-Series trucks every 30,000 miles or 24 months. Delaying or skipping this maintenance could cause the grease to degrade in the wheel bearings and, if left unattended, the front wheel bearings could eventually seize or loosen.

If you cannot confirm maintenance was completed according to the recommended schedule, encourage customers to have maintenance performed as soon as possible.
Vehicle maintenance is important for the continuous uninterrupted operation of the customers’ vehicles. Please review the maintenance schedule with your customers.
Note: when replacing the wheel bearing grease, use only lithium-based NLGI (National Association of Lubricating Grease Manufacturers, Inc.) No. 2 or No. 3 grease as recommended in your owner’s manual. For NPRHD and NPR Stripped Chassis models, use grease with a dropping point greater than or equal to 500°F. Verify that the grease used has the NLGI logo with GC-LB rating on the container.
