Make sure that the following preconditions are met:

The machine is safely parked on firm and level ground.

The Diesel engine is stopped.

 

Procedures:

Remove the nut 1.

Remove the washer 2.

Remove the cover 3.

Remove the used filter element 4 and discard it.

Install the new filter element 4.

Install the cover 3 again.

Install the washer 2 again.

Install the nut 1 again.
