How To: New Porsche Dead Can Not Start After Key Program

New Porsche model such as:Panamera,Cayenne,both of them equipped with a cool appearance key like a sports car.And many auto locksmith know the method of programming key for them.But some of them find can not start engine by original key after programming key.So in this article i will share the solution of New Porsche Dead Can Not Start After Key Program.

 

What happen?Maybe you believe you skill of welding,and didn’t make mistake on the PCB.But after you installing the BCM back on vehicle,you sound “da da” from relay.When you suffer this problem,don’t know how to solve and go to ask dealer for help,it will cost you a lot of money.

 

This problem most likely caused by below reasons:

1. Bad welding of crystal oscillator

When you programming key,it need to read out he CPU data,remove crystal oscillator,and after complete,you need to weld this crystal oscillator back on PCB.At this time,you maybe consider how to make crystal oscillator firm on the PCB,so you will put a lot soldering tin on it.

Pay attention:

The circuit aligment,length,layout of crystal oscillator in the high-frequency circuit must conform to standards requirement.Otherwise it will affect crystal oscillator working.Crystal oscillator just like the heart of CPU,when the heart rate abnormalities,the CPU will work incorrectly.

 

Soulution:

Remove the BCM,and weld the crystal oscillator beside the CPU again.And keep right quantity of soldering tin on the crystal oscillator.

Note:It is recommend to take photos of PCB,in case you can check it.

 

2. Wrong jump wire

 

When reading the data from CPU,one of the copper foil need to be cut,and after completing data reading,you need to fix it.

The right method:Put a piece of thin wire on the gap you cut before,and weld it firmly show as below pictures.

The wrong method show as below will disturb circuit work correctly.
