Ford F-350 Super Duty DPF Regeneration by Autel MX808

Preparations:

Park vehicle with parking brake

Autel MX808

 

Procedures:

Connect Autel MX808 to Ford F350,then select “Service”

Select “DPF”

Select “Hot Function”

Select “DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter) Manual Regeneration”

This procedures will command a DPF(Diesel Particulate Filer) regeneration

Perform the function as recommended in the service manual procedures.

Note:Manual DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter) regeneration may take up to one hour to complete

This test will increase the engine speed to a high RPM(Engine RPM) for an extended period of time.

Press “Yes” to continue

Select “F-350”

Now make sure met below conditions:

Vehicle is not moving

Vehicle is in PARK

Parking brake applied

Follow engine or crank for 5 seconds if engine does not start.

Note:Do not depress the throttle pedal.

Then Autel MX808 will show the DPF regeneration proceed as below

Just wait for DPF regeneration done.

Once the regeneration has been completed,the engine will return to the normal rpms.
