Bobcat 3450 Utility Vehicle Hydraulic Power Unit Removal & Installation

This illustration show the steps on how to remove and install hydraulic power unit for Bobcat 3450 Utility Vehicle.

Procedures:

Remove the cargo box.

Lower the lift arm and stop the engine.
Relieve the pressure from the hydraulic system.

Disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery

 

Important:

When repairing hydrostatic and hydraulic systems,clean the work area before disassembly and keep all parts clean. Always use caps and plugs on hoses,tubelines and ports to keep dirt out. Dirt can quicklydamage the system.

 

Warning:

Always clean up spilled fuel or oil. Keep heat, flames, sparks or lighted tobacco away from fuel and oil.Failure to use care around combustibles can cause explosion or fire.

Disconnect the solenoid connector (Item 1) from the main harness.

 

Move the rear gear case breather hose (Item 2) out of the way

 

Disconnect the hose (Item 1) from the top of the control valve.
Disconnect the hose (Item 2) from the side of the control valve.
NOTE: Mark all hoses and coils for proper location identification before removal.

Disconnect the hoses (Item 1) from the bottom of the control valve.

Slide the boot (Item 1) back and remove the nut (Item 2) which secures the positive cable to the solenoid.
Remove the positive cable (Item 3) from the solenoid.
Remove the ground bolt (Item 4) and move the wires out of the way

Remove the nut (Item 1) and disconnect the wire (Item 2) from the solenoid.
Disconnect the auxiliary solenoid harness connector (Item 3) from the main harness (if equipped).

Remove the hoses (Item 1) from the auxiliary valve (if equipped).

Remove the two bolts (Item 1) from the bottom of the hydraulic power unit.
Remove the hydraulic power unit (Item 2) from the vehicle.
