Parking Pad Replacement Matching for Range Rover Evoque:

Built connection between X431 device to vehicle,power on and enter the system to select “Land Rover V32.90”

Note:Softeware can test Land Rover ECUs,including:Engine/Transmission/SRS/Instrument/ABS,etc

Wait for system scanning automatically

Select “Manually Select”

Select “Range Rover Evoque”

Select “2012-2013”

Select “Petrol(2.0L)”

Select “System Selection”

Slide the scroll bar to select “PBM(Parking brake control module)”

Communicating,please wait….

Select “Special Function”

Select “Parking brake pad replacement-Release to service position”

Then,the system will show below massage:

“Parking brake pad replacement-release to service position.This application is required when the parking brake pads are replaced,and must be used before the parking brake pad replacement-Exit maintenance mode application-Note that when in the service position the parking brake will not operate via the parking brake switch.Press OK to continue or CANCEL to abort.”

Please make sure whether the engine is running select ok.

Then,follow the procedures show on the software as below:

“Make sure the following action has been taken.Make sure the vehicle is stationary,on level groud and that the brake pedal is not depressed.Chock wheels.Make sure the vehicle cannot roll backwards or forwards.Release the parking brake.Press OK to continue.”

Please release to service position,select “OK”

It prompts that it is completed,select “OK”

Please turn off the ignition,then select “OK”

Then,turn the ignition to “ON” position,select “OK”

It prompts to clear fault memory,select yes

Please wait…It will take about 40 seconds.

Then set the ignition switch to off,select OK

After wait a moment,set the ignition switch to on,select “OK”

It prompts that the control module procedure completed,select “OK”

Please set the ignition switch to off,select “OK”

Select “Parking brake pad replacement-Exit maintenance mode application”

After new parking brake pads have been fitted this application must be comopleted to re-enable parking brake operation via parking brake switch.Warning:The application will now extend the pistons to make the brake pads ouch the brake discs.
