How to Start Xentry AddOn Center Installer Service Manually

In some cases, the AddOn Center will fail to download/find AddOns for Xentry.Manually starting the service application for the AddOn Center will temporarily fix this issue.

How to Start Xentry AddOn Center Installer Service Manually

1.Navigate in File Explorer to the following location. <- File Explorer icon.C:\Program Files (x86)\Mercedes-Benz\AddOn Center\InstallerService

2.Select the “InstallerService.exe” or “InstallerService” application and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR

3.After starting the “InstallerService” application a black box will appear stating to “Press Key…”
Ignore this window by clicking off of it.
DO NOT PRESS ANY KEY WHILE THIS WINDOW IS IN FRONT
If you accidentally press any key and the window goes away, restart from step 2
4.Click back into the AddOn Center and the program should now be finding AddOns. This can take quite a bit of time to find all the AddOns.
5.When you are finished with the AddOn Center you can go back to the Window in step 3 and press any key to end the “InstallerService”
