Possible Cause:

1 Faulty starter relay.

2 Starter relay not connected to machine

3 Faulty wire harness.

4 Terminal back out from starter relay base.

5 Terminal back out from MECU wire harness connector.

 

Diagnosis:

1 Check the starter relay coil resistance. Resistance values shall be 220 Ω.

2 Check starter relay connected to relay box. Refer below photograph.

Check the connectivity between wire no 8065 & wire no 8067 in MECU wire harness connector for the terminal back out. Refer below photograph.

Check the connectivity between wire no 8065 & wire no 8067 to verify the terminal back out in the starter relay base (Relay Box).Refer below photograph.

 

Corrective Action:

1 Replace faulty starter relay.

2 Replace the wire harness or correct the open circuit in the wire harness if terminal back out is there.
