How to Reset Service Light for BMW 318i E92 2013

Here come the guide on how to reset service light for BMW 3 series,and here I take BMW 328i E92 2013 as example.It might be for the oil or it might be for a vehicle check brake pads fluid.

Procedures of resetting series:

Pop your key in just like so now you want to turn on your ignition,but you don’t want to start the actual engine off the car so I haven’t got my foot on the brake or the clutch and I’m just gonna press “Start”

Then it will bring up this screen here now what you want to do is you wanna whatever setting you’re on here.

You want to make sure it goes back to this bit here where you’ve got the temperature at the time and in this instance,because there is a UK car.It is in miles here so what you want to do is this button in the corner that you normally use to reset your trip.

Hold it until the warning symbol “!” appear.

Then you will see below,this particular one is for the brake fluid.

Move this stock here up and down to scroll through the different item.

At the moment I going down to reset the vehicle check,and then hold the “BC” button.

It will prompt you to reset.

Hold the “BC” button again,and then a little timer will come up and then it will reset to whatever the next vehicle check is again.If you want to do oil reset,scroll through the oil item,here it prompt next to on the 01/2019 or 18 thousand miles again.

To reset the oil just press the “BC” button,and it will ask you to reset and getting you hold “BC” button for a few seconds,then you will see a little clock come up and then it resetting itself.
