How to Delete FSC for BMW CIC Unit by ENET Cable

In this guide,car-auto-repair.com show you guide on how to use BMW ENET cable to delete FSC for BMW CIC unit.

 

Preparations:

BMW E-sys 3.33.0/3.32.1/3.30.01 Coding Software Free Download

ENET OBD Interface Cable for BMW E-SYS (Amazon)

 

Procedures:

Connect ENET cable to vehicle OBD port,if you use ICOM you need configure routing.

Run CMD as administrator on your PC

Then input “ping 169.254.199.199” (CIC unit IP address)

If connection build successfully,it will show ou as below

If connection build failed,please restart CIC unit or disconnect battery negative.

 

Run far software,press “Alt+F2”,then select “Netbox”

Click below picture red arrow,then press “Shift+F4”

Select “FTP”,input CIC IP address “169.254.199.199”

Login type:Normal

User name:files

Password:remote

Then click “connect”

Access “mnt”–>”hbdebug\data01\02\03”,then delete files

Access “mnt”–>”HBpersistence\norm\swt”,then delete file

FSC file is stored in “data” and “swt” folder

 

Delete procedures:

Press “F4” to edit file

Ctrl+A select all

Press “Delete” bottom on keyboard

After then press “F4” to exit and save.

Now restart CIC unit,FSC will been deleted
