How to Auto Scan Fault Code for Toyota Avensis(EUR) 2015 by ToCOM

This instruction shows typical vehicle auto-scan. First vehicle is auto-identified. As identification resulted in multiple possible vehicles (same platform), correct vehicle type is selected manually.

 

Preparation:

ToCOM For Toyota/Lexus/Scion Diagnostic software Free Download

 

Procedures:

Click “Auto-scan”

Click “Identify”

Select correct vehicle model, then click “Go”

Start scan and waiting for results

Select “Navigation System” from results of control unit, click “Connect”

Click “Read Fault Code Memory”

There are three fault code memory

U0073 Control Module Communication(Navigation to APGS) Bus OFF

U0129 Brake System Control Module: Lost Communication

U0164 HVAC Control Module: Lost Communication
