Honda Accord All Key Lost Programming by Launch X431

Here is a article show how to use Launch X431 to perform all key lost programming for Honda Accord.

 

Procedures:

Connect Launch X431 to Honda Accord,enter vehicle model to select manufacturer “Honda”

Select “HONDA V46.30”

The software can diagnose the elec.control system of HONDA,include ENGINE/ABS/AT/SRS.The operation is the same as the original scan tool.

After communication built,select “16PIN DLC”

It will show the vehicle information as below:

Select “System Selection”

Select “Immobilizer”

Keep ignition ON until the tester prompt you to turn the ignition off.

 

Select “Immobilizer setup”

Select “Keys”

Select “All Keys lost”

It will prompt you to enter the number of keys you want to program

Here input 2 as example

Now you need to pay attention to the prompt by Launch X431:

Turn the ignition switch OFF with the first key

Turn the ignition switch ON

Turn the ignition switch off within 16 seconds

Turn the ignition switch ON with another key within 20 seconds

Turn the ignition switch OFF within 16 seconds

Turn the ignition switch to ON within 20 seconds,without change the key

Turn the ignition switch OFF

Turn the ignition switch ON

Does the immobilizer indicator light go off?

Tap “Yes” to continue

Turn the ignition switch OFF

Turn the ignition switch ON

Then Launch X431 will prompt you that the registration of keys has been completed

Turn the ignition switch OFF

Finally,you would better to check all keys to ensure each will start the engine.
