G-scan2 Throttle Valve Learning & Reset Cold Start Adaptation Benz S-class 2011

Procedures:

Connect G-scan2 to your Benz S-class,and enter menu to select “Diagnosis”

Select Benz vehicle model

“ME/CDI/CNG-Enigne control unit”à”S-class”,click “OK” to continue

Select “Special Function”

Scroll down the bar to select “Throttle valve stop learning”

 

Preconditions:

Ignition ON

Engine stop

Coolant temperature between 5℃（41℉）and 8℃（176℉）

Intake air temperature less than 40℃（104℉）

Acceleration pedal must not be operated

Vehicle stop

No DTC on the Traction system

The engine must be stopped for longer than 1 min

Press [OK] to start

 

Note:Turn ignition off

Press [OK] to next

 

Note:Turn ignition on

Press [OK] to next

 

Note:Complete

Press [OK] to exit

 

Select “Resetting the cold start adaptation values”

Note:

Ignition ON

Vehicle stop

Engine stop

Selector lever in position P/N

Coolant temperature between 5℃（41℉）and 8℃（176℉）

Acceleration not operated

Press [OK] to exit

 

The following functions are performed:

The cold start adaption is reset

Press [OK] to start

 

Note:

Turn ignition off

Press [OK] to next

 

Note:Turn ignition on

Press [OK] to next

 

Note:Complete

Press [OK] to exit
