REASON

Monitoring the durability of the PRV (Opening time/count of PRV for wear out monitoring)

 

EFFECT

Torque limit : 0, 1 SVS

 

2) Circuit Description
Rail Pressure Signal: 236 Pin
Ground: 260 Pin
+5V supply: 211 Pin

4) Condition for Running Diagnostic
Key on or Engine run

 

5) Condition for Setting the Fault Code
1. Opening count of PRV is more than 50 times
2. Forced to open the pressure relief valve performing a rail pressure shock according to the ECU logic
3. Forced to open the pressure relief valve performing rail pressure increase
4. PRV opening time is more than 50 times and is running engine for 300min
5. PRV opening time is longer than 300min

6) Condition for Clearing the Fault Code
1. Diagnostic Tester
2. Close the pressure relief valve performing rail pressure decrease

7) Check List
