Failure detection: B7 signal from cluster (n_out-sensor) or wheel speed wrong

ZF-internal name: e_nOut_Plausi_ERR

ZF-internal type: DI_ET_INVALID_SIGNAL

System reaction: ErrorLevel 1

Failure reset condition: No Failure Signal

If failure reset condition is fulfilled: System reaction is reset after ignition off

Signal path: EDCÆCAN connection

Pertained component: EDC, CAN connection

 

ZF Transmission Differential Speed Trouble Diagnose and Repair Steps:

Failure Number: 002 e_nOut_Plausi_ERR

1 Check Sensor

If it work well,go to step 2

Otherwise change sensor

 

2 Check harness

If harness work well,go to step 3

Otherwise repair/change harness

 

3 Check CAN connection cable to EDC

If the CAN connection cable work good,go to step 4

Otherwise repair connecting cable

 

4 Check Engine Controller EDC

Change engine controller EDC
