MPPS Write & Flashing/Write VW Golf 1.9 TDI Bosch ED16U34 ECU

Here is a test post on how to use MPPS ECU software & cable to write and flashing VW Golf Bosch EDC16U34.

 

Preparations:

MPPS ECU Programming Software Free Download

How to Install MPPS V21 V18 V16 on Window XP,Window 7

 

MPPS Write & Flashing/Write VW Golf Bosch ED16U34 ECU:

Connect MPPS interface to vehicle OBD port,then run software to select

Make:Volkswagen

Model:Golf

ECU:1.9 TDI PD Bosch EDC16U34 K-Line/CAN

Then click “Ecu id” button

 

Then it will show you with the ECU information

 

Now click “Read” button to start read ECU information from Bosch EDC16U34

Reading flash progress

Save the ECU data file on your PC

Then MPPS software will prompt you to switch ignition off,click “OK”

After process completing,it will take you about 5 seconds.

Then turn the ignition ON again,the ECU data file have been saved on your pc

 

And now you can use ECU data file editor to modify the ECU data file you read from ECU (ECM Titanium,WinOLS,DPF EGR Lambda Romover)

 

Then select as below for you vehicle to write new ECU file modified.

Make:Volkswagen

Model:Golf

ECU:1.9 TDI PD Bosch EDC16U34 K-Line/CAN

Click “Write” button

Wait for process

Switch OFF key,click “OK”

Switch ON key,click ON

Now you have done the ECU file rewrite.
