Magicmotorsport Flex Read & Write Kubota Tractor M5111 ECU by OBD

In this instruction i will show you the guide on how to use Magicmotorsport Flex programmer to read & write ECU data for Kubota tractors directly through the OBD socket.With this function you will be able not only to read and write the Flash memory that contains the map zone but also to read and write a compete backup of the ECU by OBD.

 

Preparations:

How to Install Magicmotorsport Flex Software and Driver

2022 Kubota Takeuchi Diagmaster v22.08.01 v4.1.2 Software Free Download

 

Procedures:

Connect Magicmotorsport Flex ECU programmer to Kubota tractor OBD socket and PC.

Then login you account,and then you need to select the correct protocol through the FLEX software.

Select connection type “OBD” and then click “Next” to continue

Once you have detected the correct protocol,a connection manual will show you the location of the OBD socket.

Follow the instruction to connect the colored wires to the OBD socket of the Kubota tractor

Then click “Next”

Now click “Connect” to proceed with the connection and identification of the ECU.

Turn ECU power OFF and then press “OK”

Then turn ECU power ON

After identification,you can now choose the function that you would like to perform:

Read and write Flash

Read and write EEPROM

Read and write full backup

Here we are going to perform the reading and writing using the “Full Backup function”

Click “FULL BACKUP” under Read tag

It will give you a full backup of the unit in case you want to restore its contents.This will also guarantee that you will not lose the warranty of the vehicle.

Wait for proceed…

Now you can save it on your pc.

And for writing backup data back,just click “FULL BACKUP” button under Write option
