How to Flash Steering Curve for ZF Steering by ODIS Engineering

This instruction will show you guide on how to do steering curve flashing for ZF steering on VW by ODIS Engineering.

 

During flash, pls note:

Fully charged battery and external

The Bluetooth connector is firmly connected to the OBD and uses a USB data cable

Do not move hardware and switch keys during refresh

 

Preparation:

Newest ODIS-E Engineering 17.0.1/12.2.0/9.0.1 Free Download

08.2023 VW ODIS 23.0.5 & 7.2.1 & 5.2.7 Diagnostic Software Free Download

 

Procedures:

Running ODIS Engineering, Select “0044- Power Steering System”–”Flash”

Select all files

Select “205 Curve” to test steering force.

And we found steering force didn’t change too much

After Steering Curve flashing, Select “Function configuration” –>”flash(engineering”, remove two ticks and save)

Turn off and turn on the ignition switch

Check the steering system

Now we flash Curve 205 to 239.

239 curve features is low speed, extra light, high speed,it is heavier.

Function is ready.
