Steps of Disable Ford Daytime Running Lights:

1) Get a Ford IDS hardware device.
2) Install the Ford IDS software on the laptop.
3) Locate the OBD diagnostic socket in the car and plug the your Ford IDS hardware to OBD port.

4) Go to programmable parameters, select exterior lighting.
5) Change from disabled to enabled in the body control module and instrument cluster module.
6) Follow the directions on screen for cycling the key or ignition on and off.
7) Clear codes. Done.

 

Steps of Active Ford Daytime Running Lights:

1)Install Ford IDS software on your laptop.
