BMW R1200 Motorcycle All Keys Lost Programming Guide

Several days ago,my friend Jun Xiang share a key programming case to me on BMW R1200 motorcycle.So here I share it:How to program keys for BMW R1200 motorcycle all key lost.Hope you can gain a good deal of enlightenment from it.

Main Procedures:

Step 1:Remove the ECU From BMW R1200 Motorcycle

Step 2:Read out ECU immo data file

Step 3:Generate new immo chip for new key

 

 

Step 1:Remove the ECU from BMW R1200 Motorcycle

BMW R1200 motorcycle equipped with Bosch electrical control system.

The ECU is located under the fuel tank of BMW R1200 motorcycle

 

Step 2:Read out ECU immo data file

What device can read out BMW R1200 ECU?

Here Junxiang use KTAG to read out immo data.

Open KTAG,select “BMW MOTOR” “R1200 R”

Protocol select “P136”

Follow the instruction to connect BDM adapter to ECU communication connector.

Then need to power on with 12V,then you can read out the ECU immo data

Note:After reading successfully,you will get 2,3 or 4 data files,it depend on ECU type.

Here for BMW R1200,after reading completing,you will get 2 file:data file pack and FLASH data.

The FLASH data is important in this BMW R1200 motorcycle all key lost programming case.

 

Step 3:Generate new immo chip for new key

Use VVDI2,Tango or TM100 programmer to load the FLASH data you read out in step 2,then perform chip generating.

Enter the programmer software to load the FLASH data,and it will prompt you with key information and key positions,you need to put a new 7932 chip into the programmer coil.

Click generate to select a working chip

Note:It it not need to re-write back any data file to ECU,just install the ECU back on BMW R1200,then you can use the chip key just generated to start the BWM R12000.
