Procedures:
ATA 131
Combustion air fan motor
Error identification
The auxiliary heater does not start.
Cause
Interruption in the combustion air fan motor circuit.
Notes
Important! 18 V combustion air fan motor! The combustion air fan motor must not be connected directly to + 24 V.
Action
Check the combustion air fan motor. See the Internal electrical diagram under Connections. Measurement points 1 and 2 in harness-to-harness connector A for the control unit.
Resistance:
Approximately 4 ohms.
If necessary, renew the control unit.
ATA 132
Combustion air fan motor
Error identification
The auxiliary heater does not start.
Cause
Short circuit in the combustion air fan motor circuit.
Notes
Important! 18 V combustion air fan motor! The combustion air fan motor must not be connected directly to + 24 V.
Action
Check the combustion air fan motor. See the Internal wiring diagram under Connections. Measurement points 1 and 2 in connector A for the control unit.
Resistance:
Approximately 4 ohms.
ATA 133
Error identification
The fan wheel for the combustion air fan motor is not moving.
Cause

Resistance:
Approximately 4 ohms.
If necessary, renew the control unit.
ATA 134
Error identification
Short circuit or overloading on the auxiliary heater combustion air fan motor.
Cause
Electrical or mechanical fault in the auxiliary heater combustion air fan motor. Voltage supplied too high or fault on the control unit.
Notes
Important! If the voltage exceeds 18 V, there is a risk that the heater will be damaged.
Action
Check the auxiliary heater cable harness for signs of short circuits.
Check the function and condition of the auxiliary heater combustion air fan motor.
Check the control unit.
