Reset Service Indicator ESI on Seat Leon 1.4 TSI via VCDS

This instruction show you guide on how to reset Service Indicator ESI for Seat Leon 1.4 TSI via VCDS. If you want to know more about VCDS function, please refer to VCD cases.

VCDS 17.8.1 Full+Loader V2/V4 Free Download

 

Steps:

Connect VCDS interface to Seat Leon obd port, then run VCDS soft.

Select “17-Instruments”

Select “Adaptation-10”

Hit “Channel” and search for “IDE00342-ESI: Resetting ESI”

Hit “New value” and choose “Reset”

Hit “Do It!” then  it will  show Old value reset new value reset, Replace? Hit “Yes”

It shows Controller accepted the request. Will now read the channel again…. Hit “OK”

Then Go Back，Close Controller, Go Back-06

Now Service Indicator reset already.
