Description

The EEM monitoring system has detected that intake air temperature sensor value is implausible.

 

Possible causes are:

The intake air temperature sensor wiring contact is loose.

The intake air temperature sensor wiring is defective.

The intake air temperature sensor is defective.

 

Reaction in EEM

The FC is stored and the warning lamp is activated. The CAN message indicates an active fault.

 

Solution

First save the error log and then do the procedure that follows:

Examine the intake air temperature sensor wiring, the connectors and the contact surfaces of the connector pins (possible oxidation).

Try the operation with another intake temperature sensor to see if the sensor is defective.
