How to Use DS150E Learn Fuel Pressure Regulator for Opel Astra J 2011

When replacing certain components,a teach-in procedure is needed for a complete repair and correct function of the system.This function is used to program the fuel pressure sensor.In this instruction,car-auto-repaircom will show you guide on Opel Astra J 1.7 CDTi Learn Fuel Pressure Regulator by Delphi Ds150e.

 

Procedures:

Connect you DS150E interface to Opel and computer

Then run DS150E software,and select vehicle

Opel/Vaxuhall–>Astra J–>2011(VIN 10=B)

Diesel–>A17DTR 1.7L–>E21(LPL)

Gearbox MT/AT

Then click “OBD” button

It will ask you to do below operations

1.Turn ignition on or start the engine

2.Start measuring

3.Choose the test or tests you want to perform

4.Exit measuring

5.Turn ignition off

Click “DTC” button

It show you with the P062A

Fuel pressure regulator

Not learned

Intermittent

Select right adjustment button and select “Learn Fuel Pressure Regulator”

It will show you the test conditions,check and then click “OK” to continue

1.Ignition on,engine off-the engine is started during the procedure.

2.Coolant temperature 600-100℃

3.System voltage 8-10V

4.Fuel temperature 20-60℃

It will ask you to start engine and run it at idle speed,follow and click “OK” button

It will take approximately 60 seconds

Now Opel fuel pressure regulator learning complete.You can back to DTC function to erased the trouble code.
