How to Replace Cabin Air Filter for GMC Sierra/Chevy Silverado(1999-2002)

This instruction will step by step show you guide on how to replace cabin air filter for GMC and Chevrolet trucks(1999-2002).

Steps:

Use a 7mm socket to unscrew 3 bolts from tray

Pull down the tray

Use a 7/32 socket to unscrew a gold bolt on the plastic strip which is a cover for cabin air filter

Push the plastic strip off , then take out two filters

Clean the area where is need to be installed new filters. Then install new filters.

Make sure the arrow should be pointed towards the driver’s side for both filters.

After installation, put everything back, replacement is finished.
