Procedures:

Removal Procedure

1.Disconnect the battery negative cable.

2.Remove the air cleaner assembly.

3.Disconnect the throttle position sensor (TPS) connector

4.Remove the TPS retaining bolts (1).

5.Remove the TPS (2).

 

Installation Procedure

1.Install the TPS (2).

2.Install the TPS retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 2.7 N·m (23.9 lb in).

3.Connect the TPS connector.

4.Install the air cleaner assembly.

5.Connect the battery negative cable.
