Procedures:
Removal
1.Remove the air leak pipe from the air leak pipe bracket and EGR water pipe.
2.Disconnect the air leak pipe bracket from the cylinder head cover.
3.Disconnect the oil level gauge guide tube from the cylinder head cover.
4.Disconnect the oil separator hose from the air breather.
5.Remove the cylinder head cover from the lower cover.
6.Remove the head cover gasket from the cylinder head cover.
Cylinder Head Cover Installation
1.Align the head cover gasket to the cylinder head cover.
2.Install the cylinder head cover to the lower cover.
tightening torque:18 N・m { 1.8 kgf・m / 13 lb・ft }
Note: Referring to the tightening order in the diagram, temporarily tighten all bolts and then completely tighten them.
3.Connect the oil separator hose to the air breather.
4.Connect the oil level gauge guide tube to the cylinder head cover.
tightening torque:19 N・m { 1.9 kgf・m / 14 lb・ft }
5.Connect the air leak pipe bracket to the cylinder head cover.
tightening torque:24 N・m { 2.4 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft }
6Install the air leak pipe to the air leak pipe bracket and EGR water pipe.
tightening torque:28 N・m { 2.9 kgf・m / 21 lb・ft } EGR water pipe side
tightening torque:24 N・m { 2.4 kgf・m / 18 lb・ft } Air leak pipe bracket side
