How to Query Correct ECU Type without Lable

Here is the instruction show you 3 methods to query car ECU models information correctly when the ECU without confirmed label.

 

Method 1:

Check the hardware number,here take example 0261S18820

Go to http://bitsoftware.com and input the hardware number

Then you will find the ECU Type BOSCH MED 17.9.9

 

Method 2:

Use BOSCH ECU DATABASE v0.3 software

Input hardware number 0281030554

EDC 17CP44-3.6

 

Method 3:

This method will cost you longer time than method 1 and 2

You need remove the ECU cover,

Then run KTAG/KESS V2 software,to find same ECU PCB picture to confirm your ECM type.
