FORScan Disable Double Horn Honk for Ford F150 EcoBoost

Some my blog reader don’t like the double honk that occurs when you get out of the truck,so here i want to share the guide on how to use FORScan software to disable Double Horn Honk for Ford F150 EcoBoost.

Preparations:

FORScan Android/iOS/Window Free Download

How to Install & Configure FORScan for OHP ELMconfig

 

Procedures:

Connect your FORScan device to vehicle,open FORScan software then click the button “Connect to vehicle”

Then it will prompt you with the feedback information,just click “Yes” to continue

FORScan will show the Ford F150 module system information on the log

Click the “Configuration and Programming” on the menu

Select the Body Control Module,then click “Run Service procedure”

Then it will show the warning massage,just click “OK” to continue

FORScan will read the bocks information

After then scroll down to locate “726-41-02”

You need to change the value from “0001 0001 0173” to “0001 0001 0173”

Then click “Save to ECU”

It will prompt you with the warning massage,click “Yes” to continue

Now it prompt you the Blocks programming successfully,pleaes cycle the ignition OFF an then back ON.

Done!

Click “OK” then stop the service procedure and click the button at right low corner to disconnect the software to exit.
